About the Artist
Rick Cleworth had a love for pencil drawing from early childhood. He graduated from Art Instruction Inc. in 1992 (which boasts Peanuts creator, Charles M. Schulz as an alum), where his drawings earned him a Blue Ribbon Award.
Rick’s talent was no doubt inherited, as his uncle, Eric Cleworth, was a top animator, writer, and director at Disney from 1939 to 1970. Rick’s uncle contributed 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, The Aristocrats, Robinhood, Sword and the Stone, Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp and more.
