Pepé Music Inc. (PMI) is a music business company with services in the areas of recording, production, consulting, composing, and publishing. Founded in 1974, PMI was a driving force behind the start and early development of the Minneapolis Music scene.  (See Prince Connection  and Symbolic Beginning for more information.)

The company was founded by, and run under, the direction of President, Pepé Willie. His vision and expertise as a musician, songwriter, producer, publisher and consultant are the driving force behind PMI. He is assisted by Marcy Ingvoldstad and Kristie Lazenberry in all areas, including accounting, public relations, graphic design, and general administration.

Equipped with its own recording studio, PMI produces master recordings and demo recordings for artists seeking recording contracts. With access to local and national state-of-the-art recording facilities, as well as some of the top Minneapolis and St. Paul local musicians, PMI produces high quality, master-ready tracks.

The combined experience of Pepé, Marcy, and Kristie provides a rich source of knowledge for consulting artists, musicians, and songwriters.  The Demo Tape Consulting service gives budding artists and songwriters honest feedback, constructive criticism, and recommendations for future success.

Has worked as an independent producer and music business consultant since the mid-70s in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area; currently producing 94 East's new CD, as well as several up and coming local artists.

Author and co-publisher of  the single, Do Yourself A Favor, on the Jesse Johnson album, Shockadelica; and the B side of his single release, Lovestruck, 1986 and 1988.

Author publisher and producer of the 2-CD set 94 East featuring Prince; Symbolic Beginning, released in Europe, 1995; author and producer of the 2-CD set, Minneapolis Genius featuring Prince; The Historical Recordings, released in Canada 1995.

Author, publisher, and producer of the album, Minneapolis Genius/94 East, featuring Prince, Andre' Cymone, and Pepe' Willie in the United States, Japan, and England, 1986.

Recipient of the 1988 Minnesota Black Musicians Hall of Fame Award.

Has served as road manager for Little Anthony and The Imperials Reunion Tour beginning in the early 1990s and still continues ongoing work with them.
